First Woodstove Fire

Today Matt lit the very first fire in our new wood stove.  The pictures don't do it justice. It looks really pretty and is very warm. Bring it on, winter!!

The Corgi House Officially COMPLETE!

This week we had our final inspection and passed which means the Corgi House Project is officially completed!

We started planning in January, broke ground in April, and finished with all remaining inspections this past week. We are happy with the results and have learned a lot.

Here are some before & after pictures as well as some pics of the new areas that there are no "before" pictures to compare. (The original before pics are on one of our first blog entries back in April.)

Farl's New Bed

Farley is relaxing on his new bed with a tiny corgi.

Driveway Complete!

The driveway was poured on Wednesday. After the concrete set, the forms were removed and lines were etched into the surface. It is now complete and we can park the cars off-street. This winter will be a lot easier with this surface, too (it was previously all gravel which is pretty but is hard to shovel snow.).
