Eleven cubic yards of concrete were poured on top of the four cubic yards in the footings. The concrete doesn't take too long to dry. The forms will probably be pulled off tomorrow and we will call for an inspection by the Fairhaven building inspector. This work is being done by Settipane Foundations of Dartmouth, MA. ReplyDeleteHi Susan! Corgi #4 sounds tempting... they're like potato chips as you know! Not sure if they can do shingles but maybe lattice-- we can grow some nice vines on it like clematis or something. I'd really like a faux field-stone look but not sure if that will be in the cards right away ($?). Open to any ideas on prettying up that foundation on the front and side...
