First addition~1973

Here are a few pictures of the first addition that was added to the east side of the house in about 1973.

My sisters Ann and Elizabeth (2 and 4 at the time) watch the front-end loader dig the foundation.  On the right, I discuss the details with my cousin Greg Johnson.

A similar view in 2011.  Somehow, the same birch tree is still standing thirty-eight years later. -mjr
