Very Very Close to Completed!!

This week at the Corgi House: baseboard heaters installed, cabinets installed and almost complete, new pendant lights, and more.

Mark Leary (Leary's Carpentry) did an amazing job on the additional things I asked for including a wine glass rack, a plate rack and a wine rack (pics below). Lots of people are asking about the butcher block counters and the cabinets:  Mark custom built all of the cabinets and the butcher block! You can't find these in any stores!

Keith McKay did even more electrical work to get our microwave and dishwasher units ready to operate and hung up our new light fixtures over the island and sink area.

We were also able to move more furniture back into the living areas and start to reorganize our lives!

Today we went to choose a piece of soapstone at New England Soapstone in Leominster, MA. Next week, we should get our new kitchen sink and soapstone surround.

The cabinets are getting some shelves installed, there's a bit more plumbing and electrical and there are a few other odds and ends to do (including our new wood stove!!), but we are almost complete!
One of the first things done this week: our plumber Mark Olivier and his son installed new baseboards in the living room spaces and in the dog room.
A view of the TV area (still figuring out furniture arrangements!)
The new pantry at 4 x 7 ft. will hold tons of storage
This is a view of the kitchen (the 2 drawers on the counter will be put in after the sink is installed)
This new pendant light is hanging over the soon-to-be kitchen sink
New wine rack! Need more wine!!
Here's that plate rack and wine glass rack above it.

3 new pendant lights in a perfectly straight line!
Soon, a Jotul wood stove will be going in this spot!
Another living area view
A view of the living area and a table we can actually sit at to eat dinner!
Our new oven vent. This means we actually can vent the yucky air outside, instead of back into our faces like our old oven that was on an inside wall. Yay!!
